Loose Material Silos

Technical Description

This kind of silo is used for storage of materials such as cement, crushed limestone, granulate, sawdust and other loose materials.

Shell sheets, discharge hoppers and roofs of loose material silos are bolted and sealed with sealant. Individual parts of the loose material silos are finished with a baked-on coating and a coating resistant to the material to be stored.

For the effective design of silos for less commonly used materials, it is necessary to know the density of the stored material and the angle of repose.

Based on customer and project requirements, silos can be fitted with a ladder, platform, safety valve, etc.
